    • Primary Key Feature: Meets stringent safety standards (Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, and D) to prevent ignition in explosive atmospheres.
  • Multifunctionality:
    • Measures and sources a broad range of electrical signals: DC voltage, DC current, resistance, frequency, and temperature (RTDs and thermocouples).
    • Expands capabilities with optional pressure modules for comprehensive pressure measurements.
  • Two-Channel Operation:
    • Enables simultaneous source and measure functions, streamlining transmitter calibration.
  • Rugged Construction:
    • Built to withstand harsh field conditions with a durable design and protective rubber boot.
  • User-Friendly Interface:
    • Intuitive controls and a clear display simplify operation, even in challenging environments.
  • Pressure Measurement:
    • Compatible with a range of Fluke-700PEx pressure modules for accurate pressure measurements up to 3,000 psi/200 bar.
  • Loop Power:
    • Provides 24V loop power for powering transmitters during calibration.
  • Communication:
    • Optional HART communication capabilities for interacting with HART-enabled devices.

Applications:

  • Oil and Gas: Calibrating instruments in refineries, offshore platforms, and other hazardous locations in the oil and gas industry.
  • Chemical Processing: Calibrating process instruments in chemical plants and other hazardous industrial environments.
  • Pharmaceutical Manufacturing: Calibrating equipment in pharmaceutical production facilities.
  • Other Hazardous Industries: Used in any industry where there is a risk of explosive atmospheres, such as mining, petrochemical, and food processing.

By combining safety, versatility, and accuracy, the Fluke 725Ex is a valuable tool for technicians and engineers working in hazardous environments.
