Description

The Fluke 100 CLKT is an infrared (IR) window designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of electrical equipment inspections.
Save Time and Conduct More Efficient Electrical Infrared Inspections. Once you’ve installed a Fluke infrared window there is no more need to power down or remove panel doors – you may never have to open the panel door again. Inspections are now conducted quickly, easily and safer than they were before. Your greatest investment is not what’s behind the panel door; your priority is to offer the ultimate protection for the electricians, engineers and inspectors who risk their lives every day doing their jobs.

Here’s a breakdown of its key features and purpose:

  • Purpose:
    • It allows thermographers to perform infrared inspections of electrical panels and other enclosed equipment without having to open the panels. This significantly reduces the risk of arc flash and electrical shock.
    • By enabling closed-panel inspections, it saves time and minimizes downtime.
  • Key Features:
    • Quadraband™ Optics: Supports infrared, ultraviolet, and visual inspections.
    • ClirVu® Coating: Protects the optic from moisture and environmental degradation.
    • Arc-Flash Resistant: Engineered and tested to withstand significant arc flash events.
    • Durable Construction: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
    • Kwik Twist Cover: Provides secure and easy access for inspections.
    • It has features that enhance safety, such as auto grounding.
  • Applications:
    • Electrical panels and switchgear
    • Motor control centers
    • Other enclosed electrical equipment

In essence, the Fluke 100 CLKT is a safety-enhancing tool that facilitates efficient and reliable infrared inspections.
